Youngsville to host car show and fall festival

The annual Youngsville Fall Festival and Car Show will take place next month for the 17th year at the First Baptist Church on Holden Road.

A Craft Show and the Car Show will both begin at 9:00 am. Along with the Craft Show, there will be games, food trucks, and bouncy houses. The Craft Show will run until 3:00 pm. Promotion of such events is often carried out throughout the community with poster printing.

The Car Show will run until 1:00 pm with registration from 8:00 until 10:00 am. The registration fee is $20. There will be a Trophy Ceremony at 2:00 pm, which will feature classic awards of the People’s Choice. Best Truck, Mayor's Choice, and 1980 & Older Best of Show. Additional awards will be for Best of 1980s, Best of the 1990s, Best 2000-2009, and Best 2010 to the present. Trophies are sponsored by Benchmark Community Bank.

Smiling While Sending Hope (SWSH), a non-profit in Youngsville serving those with special needs and chronic illnesses, will also be at the Festival and Car Show selling their decals for $5 and bottled water for $1, with all proceeds going towards shipping care packages and other expenses of the organization. SWSH will also be selling lemonade and will have many giveaways.

The date for the Youngsville Fall Festival and Car Show is Saturday, September 24.
