Top performance achieved by school in Youngsville

Youngsville Academy has demonstrated top performance for the 2020-2021 school year in the End-of-Grade (EOG) and End-of-Course (EOC) data for elementary and middle school grade levels in Franklin County.

Announcements of such accomplishments are often made known throughout the community with poster printing.

Specifically, in reading in third grade, the percent of Youngsville Academy students who demonstrated proficiency in this area was close to three times the average in the rest of the county. In addition, in the combined results of both the EOCs and EOGs in grades three through eight, the percentage of students demonstrating career and college readiness was twice the average in the county.

The curriculum at Youngsville Academy is designed to develop students’ work ethic, critical thinking skills, and foundations in academics, lending itself to a focus on preparation for college and lifelong success. The data from the Academy shows that the performance of its students is in the 70th percentile and is increasing every year. These assessments mean that the actual performance of the school is significantly better than those schools that limit targeting their educational goals to those standards of North Carolina.

The leadership of the school has expressed its thanks to the school community for its dedication and hard work, which has opened up an exciting path and future for its students.
