New manufacturing plant to come to Youngsville area

Blue Force Technologies, a designer and manufacturer of components and airframes for small aircrafts, will be moving to a new integration facility in Wake Forest.

As this facility is expected to create 125 manufacturing and engineering jobs, residents of nearby Youngsville who are looking for work may be interested in this plant. Often, such new jobs will have the need for business card printing services.

The facility will be located on Capcom Avenue. The company plans to invest $3m in the facility. The average salary for the positions created is expected to be over $81,000 a year. The facility will help to support an award the company recently received to develop the Fury aircraft. Fighter pilots will be trained with this aircraft, which will match the jets of the Chinese and the Russians with a threat representative system. The facility is expected to produce up to five aircraft per month.

Vivian Jones, mayor of Wake Forest, expressed her pleasure in welcoming Blue Force and these new jobs to the community. She said that the town offers companies like Blue Force the business climate and the skilled workers they need to be successful. President of the Wake Forest Business and Industry Partnership and Economic Director for Wake Forest, Jason Cannon, expressed his pride that the team and innovative work of Blue Force will be added to the business community.
