Several Christmas festivities will be on offer in Wake Forest this month.
Residents of Youngsville may not want to miss these seasonal events. Flyer printing is often used to promote such festivities throughout an area to encourage people to make short journeys.
The Wake Forest Historical Museum on N. Main Street will be hosting “It’s a Wonderful Wake Forest.” Decorations of the holiday season will fill the Calvin Jones House which will also be opened for tours and viewing of the exhibit hall and the museum. The Historical Society will also be screening “It's a Wonderful Life” in the auditorium of the museum. There will also be local musicians performing outside on the grounds and inside the museum. This will take place this Saturday, December 4, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The museum will also be holding guided walking tours of the historic district. Tours will begin and end at the museum and will take about an hour and a half.
An Open House will also be held in the downtown area that day. There will be pictures with Santa, balloon twisting on South White Street, and holiday tunes at Jones Plaza North. Children will be able to participate in a hunt to find all the gnomes in the business district. People will be able to stroll through the downtown area and visit all the shops for gifts and other delights this holiday season.
