Good Neighbor Day will be coming to Wake Forest in September. Residents of nearby Youngsville may want to attend this free event, which is family friendly.
Good Neighbor Day is sponsored by the Human Relations Council (HRC) of Wake Forest. People from many cultures and backgrounds come together for a day of fun, food, and entertainment for the family. There will also be a DJ and music, prizes, and recreational activities for the young and old alike. The event serves to celebrate diversity and promote goodwill, as people of many cultures, ages, and ethnicities are celebrated during the event.
The Good Neighbor of the Year Award is also presented during the event. One local young person and one adult who demonstrate a consistent commitment to maintaining, preserving, and improving the quality of life in their neighborhood are presented with this award.
Good Neighbor Day has been attended by over 4,000 residents from the Wake Forest area since its inception in 2006.
Early fall events such as this one often benefit from banner printing. Such marketing materials can be customed designed and tend to get a lot of attention from both residents and neighboring communities.
Good Neighbor Day will take place at E. Carroll Joyner Park on Harris Road from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 16.
