Fitness classes to be held in Youngsville area

Wake Forest will be holding a May Month of Fitness, offering a variety of classes to ensure the health and well-being of its residents. Residents of nearby Youngsville may also want to take advantage of these sessions.

Several types of fitness classes will be held at the E. Carroll Joyner Park Amphitheater on Harris Road from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Flyer printing is often used to provide details about such classes, instructors, and benefits.

On Mondays, there will be instructors from Quest Martial Arts who will hold self-defense classes for women, covering many techniques to help women defend themselves and to avoid danger. The focus will be on instinctive and practical methods to help women remain safe. These classes will be held on May 1, 8, 14, and 22.

Camp Gladiator will be held on Tuesdays and will be a fitness boot camp for adults with the goal of challenging and motivating women and men of all fitness levels and ages to push themselves. Sessions will include body weight strength drills, sprint and agility drills, plyometrics, cardio, and more. These will be held on May 3, 10, 17, and 24.

Yoga classes will be held on Wednesdays, May 3, 10, 17, and 24 while Thursdays will be Zumba classes featuring cardio and Latin-inspired dancing. These classes will be held May 4, 11, 18, and 25.
