Christmas festivities will be afoot in Wake Forest in the coming week.
Residents of nearby Youngsville will not want to miss these. Such festivities are regularly promoted throughout a region with banner printing services.
The first will be the lighting of the town Christmas tree. This will take place on S. Brook Street at Centennial Plaza, which is the gateway to the Town Hall in Wake Forest. Local musical groups will begin the ceremonies this year with their performances followed by the lighting of the Christmas tree, which stands 20 feet high. Santa will follow, arriving in fire truck from Wake Forest.
This event will take place on Friday, December 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with the tree lighting a 6:15 pm.
The next day will be the Holiday Artisans Market presented by ARTS Wake Forest for the fifth consecutive year. This market will be at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre and is free and open to the public. The market will feature over 60 vendors bringing a unique shopping experience of a wide assortment of arts and crafts in many price ranges. The focus of the market in handmade items from woodworkers, artists, potters, furniture makers, and many other talented craftspeople. The event is juried as all artisans and craftspeople were specially selected for the market.
This event will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 4.
