Volunteers from Cape Fear Realtors and others came together to help with the final display. Michelle Roberts, one of the volunteers from Cape Fear Realtors, said:
“Affordable housing is something that realtors promote on a regular basis. Habitat is a huge proponent for that. So we were excited to be able to get involved and help homeowners learn how to take care of the homes they purchase.”
Roberts also pointed out that this was the first learning center like this to be established in the area. People who have never learnt how to take care of home repairs themselves will benefit immensely. She Roberts feels that people who are first-time homeowners will benefit the most. Tasks like fixing leaky toilets and replacing faucets are important skills to have for those who wish to maintain their homes. Promotional Products can be used to market products at learning centers.
The learning lab is filled with tools such as model parts of homes and numerous working areas that concentrate on fixing different issues that commonly come up at home. The program’s directors have high hopes for the learning lab and are looking forward to empowering homeowners with the skills they will require. Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
