Swap event to connect Monroe farmers

This June, a community agricultural gathering in Monroe will bring together farmers, homesteaders, and small-scale producers for a day of trading, networking, and local commerce.

The outdoor event will focus on the exchange and sale of livestock, alongside fresh goods and handmade products from regional vendors.

Organizers plan to host a range of participants offering animals such as poultry, sheep, goats, pigs, and other small livestock. Items like fertilized eggs are also expected to be available. All animals presented are required to be contained and maintained in good condition. In addition to livestock, vendors will feature locally grown produce, plants, and homemade items likebaked goods and preserved foods.

Food trucks will be present, providing a variety of dining options for attendees throughout the day. Organizers often use poster printing to promote rural swap events such as this one.

There is no cost to participate as a vendor. Individuals interested in selling goods or animals must contact the host location in advance and receive confirmation before setting up. Participation is limited and subject to approval.

The event will take place outdoors in a retail parking area, with free parking available for visitors. Scheduling may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.

The event is scheduled for Friday, June 19 from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Agri Supply, 5313 US Highway 74, Monroe.
