Classic rock legends set sail in Monroe

Fans of 1970s and 1980s soft rock will gather for an evening of nostalgia when “Yacht Rock the Dock” takes the stage this fall in Monroe.

The concert will feature performances by John Ford Coley, Ambrosia, Peter Beckett, and Elliot Lurie, uniting voices that shaped an era of smooth rock radio.

Ambrosia, the five-time Grammy-nominated band, will perform selections from titscelebrated catalog, known for blending intricate musicianship with emotional depth.

John Ford Coley, best known for being in an acclaimed duo with England Dan, will revisit classics such as “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight” and “Love Is the Answer.”

Beckett, who fronted the band Player, will deliver hits like “Baby Come Back” and “This Time I’m In It for Love.” Lurie, frontman from Looking Glass, will round out the lineup with “Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl).”

Ticket prices are $59 for orchestra, $49 for mezzanine, $39 for balcony, and $20 for obstructed view seating. Tickets can be purchased through the official event listing.
