A new cohort-based accelerator in Monroe is set to support established small business leaders seeking structured expansion.
The Level Up Business Accelerator Program will provide focused instruction and one-on-one coaching aimed at strengthening strategy, increasing revenue, and supporting job creation across Union and Anson counties.
The initiative is designed for owners and chief executives who are prepared to shift attention from daily operations to long-term growth planning. Eligible applicants must operate a business that has been active for a minimum of two years, employ at least one staff member beyond the owner, and report annual sales of $150,000 or more. Organizers emphasize that consistent participation is required, as the program follows a structured weekly format and an attendance policy.
Participants will engage in targeted training sessions covering growth planning, leadership development, and execution. The curriculum is delivered through a mix of guided workshops and individualized coaching to help owners refine business models and identify opportunities for sustainable expansion. Admission is granted through an application review process.
Poster printing may be used in an attempt to make small businesses in the neighborhood aware of events such as this one.
There is no registration fee for accepted applicants. Organizers note that the program’s no-cost structure is intended to reduce barriers for qualified businesses ready to scale.
The program will meet weekly on Thursdays from January 8 through March 19, beginning at 9:15 am and concluding at noon. Sessions take place at South Piedmont Community College, Tyson Center, 3509 Old Charlotte Highway, Monroe.
