Leadership coalition marks 20 years in Monroe

The Union County Women's Leadership Coalition will host its 20th annual spring conference this March, bringing together local leaders and advocates for a half-day program focused on professional growth and labor engagement.

This event is designed to strengthen leadership skills, encourage networking, and highlight the role of women in organized labor.

Scheduled speakers include Laura Laire, Renee Breazeale, and Marcy Gregg. Organizers say the five-hour program will feature presentations and opportunities for discussion aimed at fostering collaboration and expanding participants’ community impact. The coalition has hosted the conference for two decades as part of its broader mission to promote education and civic involvement. As with many large-scale gatherings, organizers often rely on poster printing and other promotional materials for publicity.

Individual admission is priced at $64.63, which includes a $5.54 service fee and $4.09 in sales tax.

Sponsorship packages are also available. The Ruby Sponsor level costs $2,849.71 and provides promotional placement in attendee gift Bags, recognition during the program, display space, and a reserved table for eight. The Emerald Sponsor package is $1,710.62 and includes display space and six event tickets. Sapphire Sponsors pay $1,141.06 and receive four tickets. The Topaz Sponsor option is $571.52 and includes two tickets, while Pearl Sponsors contribute $286.74 and receive two tickets.

The conference will take place on Wednesday, March 18 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm at The Grande Victorian, 1710 W. Franklin St, Monroe.
