In a few weeks, families in Monroe will have an opportunity to celebrate Halloween when The Union Exchange hosts its annual Tract-Or-Treat Halloween Farm Experience.
The event will combine trick-or-treating with farm activities, live entertainment, and festive attractions across its 54-acre property.
Children aged 10 and under are invited to dress in costume and collect candy at stations around the venue. Trick-or-treating will run in two sessions from noon to 2:00 pm, and again from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Live music from singer Lisa de Novo will be heard from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, while wagon rides will operate from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Families can also explore food vendors and meet the farm animals throughout the day.
Tickets are required for all participating children and are priced at $15 each, with added processing fees of $2.85. Adults may attend for free, and parking is included. Guests should bring their own trick-or-treat Bags. Farm store Bags will be available in limited quantities. Wagon rides are sold separately and can be reserved on site.
Each child is limited to one visit to candy shops to ensure everyone gets a turn, and only pre-packaged candy will be distributed as an anti-allergy precaution.
Event organizers often rely on poster printing to promote gatherings like this one within the community.
The Tract-Or Treat Halloween Farm Experience will be on Sunday, October 19 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm at The Union Exchange, 2022 New Town Rd, Monroe.
