An afternoon social event centered on friendship, local business, and charitable giving will take place in downtown Monroe.
This event, titled Love Shack: A Galentine’s Celebration, is designed as a women-focused gathering. It invites guests to relax, connect, and support a local nonprofit in a casual, festive setting.
The three-hour celebration encourages attendees to arrive solo or with friends, emphasizing inclusivity and shared experience. Guests will enjoy music curated by a live DJ, open karaoke sessions, and shopping opportunities with area vendors. Services available throughout the afternoon include permanent jewelry, brief massage sessions, and promotional pricing on facial treatments.
Each general admission ticket is priced at $30, with an additional processing fee of $3.85. Admission includes a mimosa, an additional drink ticket, an individual charcuterie box, and a mini cake roll provided by local baker Gingham Girl. Ticket sales close on February 12, and organizers note that all purchases are final.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Turning Point NC, a nonprofit organization focused on community support and advocacy. Venues sometimes hand out Corporate Gifts to highlight sponsors, vendors, and charitable messaging.
The celebration is restricted to guests 21 and older. Relaxed attire is welcome, with pajamas being one suggestion.
