An Eraser Stamp Workshop will be taking place this month in Monroe, and is to be hosted by Made by Max Designs.
This craft class will offer a beginner-friendly introduction to the art of linocut, a printmaking process where a linoleum sheet is sculpted to form a reusable printing block.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to use rubber erasers to construct custom Stamps. This will be an accessible project that can be finished in a single session.
The class will begin with an instructor-led demonstration on how to imprint designs onto the eraser and carve them into Stamps. Afterward, attendees will design, transfer, carve, and try out their own Stamps. This class is suitable for individuals aged 12 and older, as it involves the use of sharp carving tools that require good motor skills.
The cost to attend the class will be $15. Tickets can be bought through the Made by Max Designs listing online. All necessary materials will be provided, and participants will leave the workshop with their completed ink pad and stamp for future use.
When creating instructional materials, organizers of events such as this one may find Print shops to be a useful resource.
The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, August 24, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm at Angelene's. The venue can be found at 1625 Suite A Walkup Avenue, Monroe.Get a Free Quote for Stamps Get a Free Quote for Print
