The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa in Asheville will bring back its national gingerbread competition for 2025.
The National Gingerbread House Competition is a yearly tradition where competitors of all ages can make gingerbread creations that will shown off at The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa. There are designated categories in the contest for adults, teens, youths, and children. Those who enter the competition must submit creations that are at least 75% gingerbread. All competitors will receive a complimentary Christmas ornament for entering the event.
Those interested in participating must complete their entry Forms by November 10th. Competitors must officially register for the event by November 15th for children and youths and November 16th for teens and adults. Each submission will be judged on November 17th at a private awards ceremony for all participants and their families. The awards ceremony will be held at The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa.
The winners of the National Gingerbread House Competition will have their works displayed from November 18th until January 4th. The displays can be viewed any time from Mondays through Thursdays and after 6:00 pm on Sundays. The gingerbread creations will also be displayed on the organizer's Facebook and Instagram pages from December 1st to December 12th. Businesses that hold similar contests can use flyer printing to share details about their holiday events.
