The Mountain Area Workforce Development Board will host the 2026 Employee Wellness Summit in Asheville this December.
This summit will offer a full day of programming focused on workplace well-being. It is designed for business owners, managers, community leaders, stakeholders and employees interested in improving wellness within their organizations. Sessions will address topics including employee well-being programs, return-on-investment and value-on-investment tools, sustainable wellness strategies, resilience and work-family conflict.
Organizers also plan to examine how workplaces communicate about wellness and how those efforts can be made more effective. The event will combine expert presentations, peer networking and hands-on activities intended to help participants develop ideas they can use in their own organizations.
Scheduled speakers include Elizabeth Whitten, Sadie Simpson, Amy Nava, Vanden-Pilar Moseley and Kelly Morgan, along with representatives connected to Resources for Resilience and other participating organizations.
General admission is free. Attendees will also receive a complimentary full lunch and light breakfast during the day. Free parking is available at the venue. Those unable to attend in person may participate virtually, with access information expected to be provided closer to the event.
Work development events such as this one often use flyer printing to advertise speakers, session topics and registration information.
The 2026 Employee Wellness Summit is scheduled for Thursday, December 3rd, from 9 AM to 5 PM at MAHEC, 121 Hendersonville Rd, Asheville, North Carolina. Doors open at 8 AM.
