Non-profit in Kalispell names new leadership

Gerda Reeb has been appointed as the new executive director of Girls on the Run Western Montana based in Kalispell.

Such appointments often call for business card printing services.

Reeb was a professor and program director for more than 20 years at Flathead Valley Community College. She then served at Whatcom Community College in Washington as Dean for Student Success. In this role, she oversaw state and federal grant portfolios and directed initiatives for youth and pre-college students. In her new role, she will oversee grant development and regional fundraising, lead strategic growth, cultivate local school partnerships and champion the delivery of high-quality programs across close to 12 sites which the organization has in Flathead County.

Chair of the board of Girls on the Run Western Montana, Amanda Holliday, expressed her thrill in having Reeb as their new executive director. She added:

“Gerda brings an incredible blend of executive leadership, deep roots in our local educational community, and a genuine passion for empowering young people. Her vast experience and vision make her exceptionally qualified to lead us into this next chapter, as we look to expand across the region.”

Reeb was equally excited to be part of Girls on the Run of Western Montana. She said that she is looking forward to working with the donors and community of supporters as well as the coaches to help the non-profit organization reach more girls in that part of the state.
