Kalispell to host major job fair

The Trade Center at the Flatheads County Fairgrounds in Kalispell will be the location for the Northwest Montana Job and Opportunity Fair later this week.

This will be a place where both businesses and those looking for jobs can connect and explore opportunities for employment.

WorkForce Flathead, Discover Kalispell Chamber, the Daily Inter Lake, Flathead Valley Community College, and Job Service Kalispell are hosting the job fair. This event is expected to be the largest in-person event of its kind in northwest Montana.

The morning will feature a high school and college student career fair. Insights into various career opportunities and paths in the region will be provided, with opportunities to explore internships and jobs for the summer. The afternoon will be more of a community job fair, where people of all backgrounds and ages will be able to meet with representatives from a diverse array of industries and businesses. Such events often require business card printing services as both employers and jobseekers look to exchange information.

Manager of Job Service Kalispell, Laura Gardner, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, saying that it will enable greater economic empowerment in the area.

The Northwest Montana Job and Opportunity Fair will take place this Thursday, April 11. The morning session will be from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. while the session in the afternoon will be from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
