A new fingerprinting company has been opened in Kalispell by a retired police offer.
Jerie Betschart, formerly of the Kalispell Police Department, along with her husband Roger and friends Melody and Cliff Tucker, are now spreading the word about their business Flathead Fingerprinting to the community of Kalispell.
The use of flyer printing is one way that people in the community and beyond can become aware of such services.
The business focuses on fingerprinting services needed for background Checks. These are often needed for employment for jobs ranging from security to teaching and the medical field. Fingerprinting services have typically been provided by police departments, but these departments have been scaling back their services in recent years.
Melody Tucker said that while people can wait two or three weeks to get fingerprinted by a local police department, their business can typically accommodate people within one or two days, with the increased flexibility they offer. She added that this can make a difference in the employment process as there could be further delays without the services they offer.
Flathead Fingerprinting also provide notary services and is planning to offer more services in the future. The business is finding that people travel from one and a half to two hours to their location, so the goal would be to expand to more remote locations. Roger Betschart said they hope to purchase a portable scanner and travel to colleges to serve nursing and medical school students in the area.Get a Free Quote for Checks
