A new position of communications coordinator has been created in the Kalispell Public Schools.
This position will work with the superintendent to create and carry out a communication plan for the district. The person who has been hired for this position is Joel Danoy. Such new positions often call for business card printing services.
Superintendent Matt Jensen has advocated for such a position to ensure there is consistency in how information is shared both externally and internally and how it is branded to different stakeholders.
Danoy attended West Virginia University where he received a bachelor's degree in journalism. He has worked as a director of marketing and communications at both parochial and private schools in San Francisco, including La Scuola International School, Mercy High School, and Archbishop Riordan High School. He has also been a newspaper reporter in West Virginia, Virginia, California, and Pennsylvania. He has been in Montana since April and worked over the summer with Glacier Rail Company.
Danoy expressed his honor to be able to join the teachers and staff at Kalispell Public Schools who work to have an impact on students and their families. He added that he is eager to work with the community and share his enthusiasm for encouraging effective and engaging communications that will create outcomes of a positive nature for students, teachers, staff, and families.
