State's largest fair returns for nine days

The largest fair in Montana plans to celebrate the state’s rich cultural heritage next month.

MontanaFair, which lasts for nine days, includes many different activities, fun events, and shows, as well as displays to show the Montana culture and community feeling.

What pulls in people the most at MontanaFair is its live entertainment. This year, there will be performances from Boys Like Girls, Stephen Pearcy, and Kip Moore. Numerous local and regional bands are scheduled to perform on different stages within fairgrounds, which ensures a steady flow of musical enjoyment. The fair's most important attraction is its carnival, where there are many kinds of rides for everyone, including exciting roller coasters and calm carousels.

Livestock shows and agricultural contests are the heart of MontanaFair, showing the area's deep farming and ranching roots. People can get a good look at prize-winning cattle, sheep, pigs, and other animals. These competitive events underline how local farmers and 4-H club participants put in their effort all year round to present their livestock.

The fair has many exhibitions and vendors. Commercial exhibitors display the newest products in agricultural technology and home goods. For families, the MontanaFair offers a variety of activities like petting zoos, magic shows, or interactive displays for learning. MontanaFair takes place at the First Interstate Arena in Billings from August 9 to 17.
