Thai restaurant to open in St. Ann area
A new Thai restaurant will be coming to Maryland Heights. Residents of nearby St. Ann who enjoy this type of cuisine will no doubt be interested in this restaurant.
Thai Mama will be opening on McKelvey Road. Sasimonthon Ongartsutthikul is the owner of the restaurant and also owns Thai Kitchen, which is a local chain. The chain was started by Ongartsutthikul in 1999 in Maryland Heights. She sold it to an unrelated individual and the chain is still in business today. She wanted to return to Maryland Heights, so she is opening the new eatery under the name Thai Mama to avoid confusion.
The five locations of Thai Kitchen in the St. Louis area are Wentzville, St. Charles, O’Fallon, Florissant, and St. Louis. The St. Louis location is inside The Hill Food Co. and offers only delivery or take-out services.
Thai Mama will be offering the same cuisine and service, both of which have been award winning, as diners would find at Thai Kitchen. Thai Mama will serve authentic Thai food with a full-service bar. There will be dine-in, online ordering, and catering services. Uber Eats, Grub Hub, and DoorDash will be providing delivery services.
Local print shops can help in promoting such new eateries in an area by creating flyers, posters, and other printed materials.
