St. Charles to host summer and fall pursuits
Outdoor events and activities will be returning to the Streets of St. Charles next month.
Residents of St. Ann may want to take advantage of some of these festivities which are often promoted throughout a city and surrounding areas with banner printing.
The Beale Street Market will be returning with many local artists, farmers, and craft vendors. The Market will be the first Wednesday of every month from 5:00 to 8:00 pm starting on Wednesday, May 5.
The Beale Street Concert Series is sponsored by a partnership between the Greater St. Charles Convention and Visitors Center and Y98. There is no charge to attend these concerts, with food and drinks available for purchase from the many restaurants in the area, as no outside coolers, drinks, or food are allowed.
Among the performers will be No Diggity, Queens Blvd., Trixie Delight, and Joe Dirt and the Dirty Boys. Concerts will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on the second Wednesday of every month, beginning in May and running through October.
There will be sunrise sessions of Yoga on Beale led by YogaSix. Participation in these sessions requires a fee of $5, and they will be held from 8:00 am to 9:00 am on the second Saturday of each month from May through September. Proceeds of the fee go to benefit a local charity.
