St. Ann to have a ball and go green
Early next month, locals in and around St. Ann can attend an elegant evening event that supports the environment.
The 6th Annual Green Ball is coming to the Moonrise Hotel. The Eclipse Restaurant will provide guests with fun cocktails, beer, wine, and appetizers with locally sourced ingredients. There will also be live entertainment, including music from ‘The Trip Daddys’, and a strolling ‘Eco Elvis’. Other highlights include dancing, an interactive photo booth, and a silent auction.
In an effort to support sustainability, guests are encouraged to wear imaginative, eco-friendly attire. An expert panel will give out prizes for the most fashionable outfits. In addition, the 'zero-waste' event will utilize recycled paper, composting, and other green methods. The event’s proceeds will go to help the EarthWays Center, a department of the Missouri Botanical Garden.
Tickets cost $40 for Missouri Botanical Garden members and $50 for nonmembers. Tickets can be purchased on the Missouri Botanical Garden website or by calling (314) 577-5118. Carpools with four or more individuals will receive free valet parking
