St. Ann seniors gear up for concert trip

Tomorrow morning, seniors are invited to join others in their age group and get away for a mini-vacation to the Sheldon to enjoy some socializing, complimentary pastries, and coffee, before entering the concert hall to enjoy the sounds of Swing DeVille.

The tour organizers might have used poster printing and brochure printing to promote this trip to seniors that live in this community and the surrounding areas.

A new tour, this offers seniors the opportunity to save money on gas prices and join others on a bus trip to listen to a great ensemble, featuring swing and pop music from the 20s to the 40s, old-time fiddle, New Orleans jazz, bluegrass, gypsy jazz, and big band songs, plus some contemporary and traditional styles.

The performance features a lively show with plenty of musical energy and is sure to have guests tapping and singing along. After the concert, guest will visit Oldani’s for a toasted ravioli meal, which ranges in price from $7.25 to $12, not included in the price of the tour. The trip will last approximately two hours.

The day away costs $39 per senior, and will take place tomorrow, April 30, with the bus leaving at 8:30 am from 1 Community Center Drive in St. Ann, Missouri. To find out more about departing and returning details, or to book a place, please contact Patty Marshall or Raini DeBarr at 314-429-4545.
