The City of St. Ann is putting the finishing touches on a free concert event for all local residents. The Party in the Park is a combination of music and food that celebrates everything that makes the city great.
The concert will feature the musical talents of the Neon Blues Band. The five-piece band is made up of St. Louis natives who all met each other at a holiday party. Some members have come and gone, but the band is still playing gigs in the Missouri area. They’re famous for their blend of feel good music, R&B, soul, classic rock, and dance music. Flyers advertise the group as playing a bit of something for everyone.
In addition to the music, concert goers will also have the ability to purchase concessions at the concert. Typically, vendors offer candy, chips, hamburgers, bratwurst, and hot dogs to eat as well as soft drinks, beer, and wine to drink. The city also wishes visitors to know that seating is limited so a lawn chair or blanket should be brought to the event.
The Party in the Park will be held on July 13 at the Tiemeyer Park located at 3311 Ashby Road. Concessions open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:00. Admission is free to the public. Anyone interested in attending should contact the city directly for more information.
