St. Ann area homes new wholesale store

A new Costco is now open in the St. Louis area.

This is a Costco Business Center inside the Interstate 170 Business Center office park in St. John and is at the intersection of Interstate 170 and St. Charles Rock Road. Small businesses and others in the St. Ann area may benefit from this new kind of Costco.

Costco Business Centers are different from the typical Costco store in that they are designed to serve small businesses. They have more bulk items of office supplies and food. They also carry some distinct products and close to three quarters of their items are different from those found at a typical Costco store.

Among the departments and specialty items are a gas station, a special-order kiosk, business products, fresh produce, and restaurant supplies. This Costco also offers business delivery services, executive membership, a program for purchasing automobiles, and is wheelchair accessible.

Such stores often turn to flyer printing to promote their offerings and specialty products for the business community.

Costco Wholesale Corp., based in Issaquah, Washington, has 25 such business center across the country, including Hackensack, New Jersey; San Diego; Chicago; Minneapolis, Atlanta, and Denver. This is the fifth Costco Business Center in the St. Louis region, as the company recently opened a new Costco in University City, in addition to the ones in St. Peters, Manchester, and south St. Louis County.
