Before indulging in a Thanksgiving feast, runners can work up a sweat and help a local food pantry.
Olivette’s first Turkey Trot features a 5K run or walk that begins and ends at Stacy Park. The course will take individuals through the neighborhood, which is just a short distance from St. Ann.
After the race, awards will be distributed to the fastest male and female participants. Prizes for best costume and a few other family awards will be handed out.
Registration can be completed online on the One Stop Race website. The cost is $25, which includes a long-sleeved event T-shirt. Those who bring canned or dried goods on race day will be given a gift along with the chance to enter for more prizes.
Proceeds from the event will help the Harvey Kornblum Jewish food pantry. Every month, the organization serves more than 2,000 families. In order to advertise the event, a local Print company was probably asked to create Flyers and other promotional materials.
Participants can pick up their packets at Olivette City Hall on November 25 or 26 from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Packets can also be picked up on race day before the trot.
The race begins on November 27 at 8:00 am. Awards and prizes will follow at 9:00 am. Stacy Park is located on 9750 Old Bonhomme Road.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Flyers
