Office space to be made available in St. Ann area

Lumeris, located in Maryland Heights, will be subleasing one of its three buildings in the Riverport Business Park. Lumeris is a company that provides Medicare health maintenance organization plans and managed health systems.

The company has decided to “right-size” its office space as more people take advantage of flexible and remote office work. Lumeris is owned by Essence Group Holdings Corp. based in Earth City and has several opened positions, all of which are remote and may be of interest to residents of nearby St. Ann.

Local Print shops can assist with spreading the word about such positions with mailers and other printed materials.

The building to be sub-leased is rated as Class B and was built in 1999. It is owned by Kawa Capital, based in Florida. Kawa purchased the building in 2018 for $22.2 million. When Essence Healthcare moved to the building in 2009, it consolidated two of its offices that had been based in Creve Coeur.

The company said that the previous office space had been designed for a time when it was expected that everyone would be in the office full-time. It added that with this new hybrid approach, the company decided to sublease real estate that has not been used so as to align with the company’s mission to provide the highest-quality healthcare and meet the needs of its team members.
