The Center for Behavioral Health has opened a new Geriatric Psychiatric Hospital in Maryland Heights on Ayrshire Drive.
The hospital is adjacent to National Healthcare Corp (NHC) HealthCare Maryland Heights. Residents of nearby St. Ann in need of such services can benefit from this new hospital.
The Geriatric Psychiatric Hospital spans 12,804 square feet, has 16 beds, and employs over 30 people working in the fields of social work and nursing. Dr. Adam Sky is the medical director. Among the conditions treated at the hospital are dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory loss, and co-existing medical care needs. Such hospitals may turn to brochure printing to provide more details about their accommodations and services.
NHC is the parent company of the Center. CEO and Administrator of NHC, expressed her thrill in the opening of this new hospital and the many new jobs that it has created. Stafford said that it is hoped that between 10 and 15 more jobs will be added in the future in admissions and nursing, all of which will have a great impact on the local community.
NHC has five assisted living/skilled nursing facilities around greater St. Louis and has been providing high-quality senior care for over 50 years. It operates 28 hospice agencies, 34 homecare agencies, five retirement communities, 24 assisted living communities, and 75 skilled nursing centers across the country.
