Starting next week, locals can enjoy an epic music event.
The 'Vans Warped Tour' is coming to Maryland Heights, about five miles away from St. Ann.
The nationwide tour boasts more than 70 artists on nine different stages. From hard rock to acoustic tunes, there will be a wide variety of music. Along with this, there will be comedy acts and spoken word performances. Flyer printing is one way the event was likely promoted.
The Warped Tour will have free water stations where guests can fill up their bottles. There will also be a misting station, a slip and slide, and food vendors.
Advanced general admission tickets cost $37.50. If purchased on Ticketmaster, there are additional online fees. Tickets can also be purchased at various local retailers, such as Wal-Mart. If not sold out, tickets may be available for purchase on event day.
Those who want to enter the event early can bring three canned goods or a $5 donation to the The Feed Our Children NOW! tent to get an ‘Express Entry’ wristband.
Legal guardians, over the age of 28, can get in for free if they accompany a minor with a ticket. Proof of ticket purchase is required and the complimentary ticket can be picked up on event day.
The event kicks off on July 27 at 11:00 am and ends around 9:00 pm.
