Ice cream company to offer products in St. Ann area
Blue Bell Ice Cream has announced that its products will be coming to stores in the St. Louis area beginning next year.
Residents of St. Ann who may have discovered this brand in other parts of the state will most likely be interested in this news.
Blue Bell Ice Cream is based in Brenham, Texas. It will be building a distribution center in St. Peters. The facility will span 16,000 square feet and will be on Spencer Road. There will be no products produced at the center, but it will have a cold storage area that will house all the company’s products. Direct store delivery is used by the company so that only employees of Blue Bell handle its products from the time they are made to their final destination in a store.
The company has not announced the store locations, but it will be available for purchase in major drug stores and supermarkets in the St. Louis area. The company is also planning to sell its products in central Missouri and parts of southern Illinois.
Employees are likely to be hired early next year. Positions will include route supervisors, territory managers, office managers, route sales representatives, shipping managers and clerks, and merchandisers. Many such positions often see the need for business card printing services.
Blue Bell Ice Cream makes its products at manufacturing facilities in Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas.
