A new Aldi grocery store will be opening in west St. Louis County in Maryland Heights this coming week.
Residents of nearby St. Ann looking for food at affordable prices may want to patronize the store once it opens.
O’Fallon vice president for Aldi, Rob Jeffries, said that the German retailer’s stores are designed to simplify and speed up grocery shopping. He expressed his excitement about opening what will be Maryland Heights’ first Aldi store and introducing customers in the area to a new shopping experience that is more affordable.
On opening day, the first 100 customers will be given a gift bag that will have a gift card worth up to $100 in addition to favorite products of fans of the store. Those eligible to receive such items need to be 18 years old and live within 50 miles of the store, meaning residents of St. Ann qualify for these prizes. During the grand opening weekend of the store, there will also be a sweepstakes for customers with a chance to win a gift card from Aldi worth $500.
Local Print shops often assist such stores in promoting their opening and special offers with Flyers, Posters, and other printed materials.
The Aldi store on Dorsett Road will be opening on Thursday, February 29. The doors will open at 8:45 am after a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
