For the 11th year, St. Louis’ Open Highway Music Festival will be returning to the Chesterfield Amphitheater in late July. This will be three days of well-known artists playing rock, country, Americana and indie music.
The event will feature Steve Earle and the Dukes on Thursday, July 28th at the Old Rock House, 1200 S 7th Street. Drive-By Truckers, the Screechin’ Halts and James McMurtry will provide the entertainment for Friday, July 29. Finally, Margo Price, Hayes Carll, Shovels and Rope, Funky Butt Brass Band, Western States, John Moreland, and Riley Holtz will be the acts on Saturday, July 30 at the amphitheater.
Fans of these artists often go online before the concerts to buy merchandise featuring their idols’ Logo Design or graphic design.
Although tickets for the Thursday night concerts are sold out, tickets for the Friday night concert will be $45, and $75 for the Saturday evening performances. General admission weekend passes, good for Friday and Saturday, will be $100 and for lower-level seating will be $110. Three-day passes for standing room only general admission are $125, while seated three-day passes are $140. Kids under 12 will get free admission.
Some of the proceeds from the event will go to St. Patrick Center, an organization sponsoring nutritional services, clothing, social services, empowering programs, and transportation to the homeless.
Open Highway Music Festival 2022 will be from July 28 through 30 at the Chesterfield Amphitheater, 631 Veterans Place Drive.
