Chesterfield readies for fall festival

Planning for the fourth annual Chesterfield Fall Festival coming in mid-October is in full swing.

The festivities will include carnival rides, a petting zoo, miniature pony rides, and market, craft, and food vendors. Other activities will be hayrides, pumpkin painting, balloon twisters, a mechanical bull, and a photo booth.

Proud parents often take the pictures they take of their little ones enjoying seasonal events like this to local Stationery printers to be made into personal seasonal cards and note card sets.

Doors will open at 1:00 pm and the Plaza and Amphitheater stages will offer live music. The Plaza entertainment will begin at 1:00 pm with PDA Music. Biscuits & Gravy will perform from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm and they will be followed by 2 Pedros from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm. Performances on the Chesterfield Amphitheater Stage will take over at 4:00 pm with the band Rockin' Chair.

At the time of writing, the event still has space for food vendors and market and craft vendors, so anyone interested may email ampinfo@chesterfield.mo.us. Cause-driven initiatives, community organizations, public services, and local businesses may inquire about sponsorships at the same email address, but should do so as soon as possible.

The City of Chesterfield's Fall Festival will take place Saturday, October 18 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Chesterfield Amphitheater, 361 Veterans Place Drive. Admission will be free.
