Volunteers sought for trivia phone bank

Radio KVSC, Your Sound Alternative is once again holding its annual Trivia Weekend and is looking for volunteers, including some to work the event remotely from the comfort of their own abode.

This year’s Trivia Weekend, the 43rd such event, will be titled LITerally Trivia: A Novel Idea. Unlike in the past this year’s trivia contest will be paused between the hours of 2:00 am and 8:00 am, giving the teams 38 hours in which to compete in the Trivia Weekend.

Belonging to Minnesota’s network of Independent Public Radio, KVSC 88.1 is operated by St. Cloud State University from which its signal it able to reach not only us here in Princeton, but also all the way to the Twin Cities.

A flyer printing service can be one of the most affordable ways to supplement the advertising of an event.

Play in the Trivia tournament can be done from wherever one wishes and even volunteering can be done remotely, as only a limited number of in-person phone bank volunteers will be needed on campus. For those who feel they would prefer to do their volunteering remotely, signing up early is best so that tech personnel can accomplish the necessary home set-up and training in plenty of time.

Those who volunteer for 12 hours spread out over the Trivia Weekend, which will take place February 18 – February 20, will be rewarded with a collectible T-shirt sporting the message – LITerally Trivia: A Novel Idea.
