What's Happening in Princeton, MN…

The Community Health Board of Mille Lacs County has recently started working on a long-term community health improvement plan that will tackle community public health concerns and needs volunteers to help in its development.

The county’s public health department realizes that much has changed over the past two years in Princeton and the rest of the county as a result of the ongoing global pandemic and wishes to ensure it is focusing in on its community’s current needs. To this end, the board of health is seeking individuals for its Community Health Improvement Plan Advisory Team. The expectation is that the advisory team members can help public health officials better understand the current needs.

Flyer printing services are often called upon to help local government gauge the sentiment of a community.

Beginning in September Advisory Teams will work, for the most part, remotely to create a new vision for future program planning. Most of the communication for the teams will be accomplished via email, which means volunteers must have an email address so they can receive information and provide feedback. Additionally, there will be one or possible two in-person or virtually meetings. The board hopes to enlist volunteers from each of Mille Lacs County’s geographic areas.
