The Mille Lacs County Fair is taking place next month for five days.
There will be lots of events and activities occurring during the run of the fair that should appeal to people of all ages. Entertainment will be provided by musical groups such as The Whiskies and The Farmer’s Daughters, DJ Sprunk, the All American Lumberjack Show, Dazzling Dave on the yo-yo, and the reptile side show.
There will be two tractor pulls, a demolition derby, and speedway races. Other than the first tractor pull which was free, each of these events cost $10 for adults, or $8 for seniors and children between the ages of 7 and 14. Those who wish to register to take part in the tractor pulls pay $25 in advance and $50 on the day of the event.
Other activities at the fair will include competitions in topics like domestic arts, crops and forestry, and homemade wines and beers, along with a talent show, commercial exhibitors, and laser tag.
Organizers are sure to have contacted a Princeton poster printing company for help in advertising the fair.
The Mille Lacs County Fair will be held at the Mille Lacs Fairgrounds from August 10 to 14. Admission is $5 per day for those aged seven and over or $10 for all five days. To get the latest information about this event, call 763-389-3138.
