More than a dozen specialties were represented by the 57 doctors the magazine included in its list. Included among those doctors were ones from M Physicians and Fairview, who see patients at the hospital and clinics of the M Health Fairview system.
The 2023 honorees included in the “Top Doctors for Women” list were selected from the 2022 “Top Doctors” list published by Minnesota Monthly. A complete list of the 2023 Top Doctors for Women, their specialty, and where they practice can be found in the magazine’s January/February issue which focuses on Women’s Health and Wellness.

Every year, Minnesota Monthly poses the same question to thousands of licensed physicians from Olmstead County and the Twin Cities metro area comprising 11-counties. The question asked is:
“If you or a loved one needed medical care, which doctor would you recommend?”
Each doctor can nominate no more than three doctors besides themselves. Physicians whose name appear most often among the replies receive the designation “Top Doctors.”
M Health Fairview had over 250 “Top Doctors” associated with it in 2022, a number larger than any other health system in the state.
