Children are sure to be amused by a play this weekend that features a group of animals who are outraged when their requests are not being met by the farmer.
The ‘Click, Clack Moo: Cows That Type’ setting opens with the animals feeling that their work rate means they deserve to have electric blankets to keep them warm during those drafty nights in the barn. Farmer Brown ignores their request, so the animals begin to take action.
The cows refuse to produce milk, the chickens will not lay eggs, and the other animals find ways to make the farmer notice that they are upset. They finally set up a peaceful protest to show their discontent. The show is accompanied by some musical numbers that the children will no doubt enjoy singing along too.
The performing troupe might have used flyer printing, as well as poster printing, to promote this play to people in the community, including nearby areas like Princeton.
Tickets for this performance range from $10 to $16 per person. It will be on stage on Saturday, April 19, starting at 11:00 am at the Lyric Arts Main Street Stage at 420 East Main Street in Anoka, Minnesota.
