Construction began this month on the Fairview Northland Medical Center expansion project. The Princeton, Minnesota, hospital is part of Fairview Health Services, which is also Minnesota based.
The project will include a specialty building, two-stories high, that will encompass 25,500 square feet, and will be connected to the existing building of the hospital by a two-story hallway. The construction is being completed by RJM Construction, a general contractor based in Minnesota. The expansion is slated to be completed before 2015, and prepared for occupancy by the spring of that year, according to Real Estate Journals.
During expansion projects like this, many companies spend some portion of their budget on banner printing, to alert people to detours, advertise the construction company, or let people know when to expect the completion of new building and its facilities.
The Fairview Northland Medical Center serves as a full service medical center, and currently has 54 beds, with more than 100,000 patient visits annually. The center mainly serves many communities, including Princeton, Milaca, Elk River, Zimmerman, St. Francis, and Rogers. The new expansion will provide a home for rehabilitation, cardiology, orthopedics, infusion, primary care, and imaging.
