Local gardens celebrate culture amid beauty

The Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society in St. Cloud is having several events next month that celebrate art and music.

The first event to take place will be the Art Fair in the Gardens. A number of local artists will be selling their handmade works of art which will include photographs, stained glass, paintings and woven items. There will also be musical entertainment at various places in the gardens from Pushing Chain, Cristina Seaborn, Cathie English and Carlos Quinche. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

The society is also bringing back its Music in the Gardens event for the 17th season which hosts local musicians every Sunday. On July 10, Harper’s Chord will be performing. July 24 will feature Dennis Warner and it will also have the Memorial Release of Butterflies. Guests can purchase a butterfly for $25 in memory of a loved one and release it into the wild. During these weekly events, guests can also buy root beer floats for $1.

Visitors from all over the area, including nearby Princeton, may want to take in one of these events. Advertising materials may be provided by local printing companies.

The Art Fair in the Gardens is happening at the Munsinger Clemens Garden on July 21 from 10 AM – 7 PM. Admission is free of charge. To learn more about these events, call 320-257-5959.
