This winter, hockey players in Princeton can take part in a youth tournament at a local ice arena.
The Bryan Opskar Memorial Tournament was created to remember and honor Bryan Opskar, a former local youth hockey player. Opskar was also a marine who was lost in the line of duty.
The Princeton Youth Hockey association will be hosting the tournament. Along with tournaments, it holds camps, clinics, and practices. In addition, both open hockey and ice skating times are available. The association also offers both ice and dry floor event spaces.
The organization is an important resource for the hockey community; its website allows individuals to download the official USA Hockey Rulebook. It also has resources for new hockey parents.
Peewee B2 and Squirt C divisions are invited to sign up. Registration costs $750 and participants are guaranteed three games. Online signups and tournament rules are available on the Princeton Youth Hockey website.
Princeton Print companies are sometimes asked to create programs for tournaments. Programs often contain rosters, advertisements, schedules, and other important information. For this reason, programs are often utilized as keepsakes to place in scrapbooks.
