The Greater St. Cloud Talent Summit is taking place next month. This one-day conference seeks to match local jobseekers and talent with employers looking to hire.
The emcee will be Judy Zimmer, and there will be keynote speeches by Anne Pryor and Rose McKinney. Topics of discussion will include making a first impression with an employer and branding yourself.
There will be two threads of breakout sessions, one for employers and one for jobseekers. Each person can choose between two different sessions on subjects such as surviving and impressing in job interviews, building a diversified workplace, résumé writing, employee retention, and finding the ideal candidate on LinkedIn.
Lunch will also be served and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking with peers. Several companies and local career colleges will also have booths to provide information to those who drop by.
Since Princeton is within commuting distance of St. Cloud, it is likely that several people will travel to the conference. Most of them attending will also be bringing their custom Business Cards to exchange at this business-oriented event.
The Greater St. Cloud Talent Summit will be held at the River's Edge Convention Center on January 21 from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. To find out more information about the conference and participating companies, visit the official event website.
