Princeton locals can welcome fall with salsa, chili, and fun, as the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 10th Chili Fest Time.
During this community event, individuals can
enter the salsa or chili taste test contest. Attendees can also sample the entries. Contest entries cost $50 and participants have a chance to win a $500 prize.
Along with salsa and chili, guests can enjoy live entertainment from the Everett Smithson Band, an American roots group. At noon, kids can take part in a free harmonica lesson. Other activities include a beer garden, a scarecrow contest, a car show, and games for kids.
Vendors will be selling crafts, food and more. Businesses will also have booths. Vendor spaces cost between $50 and $75. In addition, the deadline to register for a booth is September 14.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for between $45 and $750 dollars. All registration and sponsorship Forms are available to Print on the chamber of commerce’s website.
With several thousand expected to attend, it’s likely companies used a business card printing service. Vendors can have these cards on hand to pass out during the event.
The Chili Fest will take place on September 26 from noon until 4:00 pm.
The fest will be held at Mille Lacs County Fairgrounds, located on 1400 South 3rd Street. The car show will be held on Rum River Drive near the Princeton Mall.
