The 11th annual Chili Festival is taking place next month. It is presented by the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce.
The festival is set to feature both a chili and a salsa competition. Participants will be competing for prizes such as people’s choice and judge’s choice, and there will also be specific salsa and chili prizes. Registration is open until September 16, and competitors must provide 10 gallons of chili or 2.5 gallons of salsa. They are given a 10 x 10 space with table and chairs, but must provide their own tents.
There will also be arts and crafts and food vendors in attendance. They are still space available until September 16 also. Fees for food vendors are $50 for Chamber members and $75 for non-members and arts and crafts cost $30.
Entertainment will be provided by the day from The Everett Smithson Band.
Sponsorships are available from $45 up to $750; sponsors will be recognized at the event on a banner and in all Print advertising.
Organizers will no doubt contact a Princeton banner printing company for material to recognize event sponsors.
