The annual Malaysian Night is taking place next month. It is presented by the St. Cloud State University (SCSU) Malaysian Students Association.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Tanah Airku’, which means ‘my homeland’. Guests will find out all they ever wanted to about the culture of Malaysia.
There will be displays about Malaysian history and art, performances from Malaysian cultural groups, and a taste of traditional foods. Guests may have the opportunity to try such delicacies as chili crab, fish balls, and ketupat (dumplings). They might also be served sweet tweets such as pineapple tarts and batik cake.
This event may attract people with a Malaysian background from all over the area, including nearby Princeton, and many of those who like to learn about all cultures that are represented in their community. To advertise events like this, local Print companies are often asked to provide marketing materials, such as Brochures, Posters, and Flyers.
Malaysian Night will be held at the Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom in St. Cloud on January 14, beginning at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $7 for St. Cloud State University students and faculty, and $8 for the general public. Children under the age of 12 will be admitted for free.
