Something artsy coming to St. Anthony

Minneapolis Craft Market in partnership with Three Rivers Park District will be hosting the Field Trip 2018 in St. Anthony, which is five miles from New Brighton.

Now in its ninth year, the event will include food trucks, beer tents, family-friendly art activities, an audio tour of Woodland Park, live poetry readings and music, and unveilings of brand-new sculptors, all of which is likely to result in some colorful banner printing.

The main mission of the Minneapolis Craft Market is to help emerging artists to get noticed. With a constantly rotating selection of both designers and makers, organizers hold various markets, such as the upcoming Field Trip, through the Twin Cities area all year around.

The Field Trip is scheduled for next Saturday, September 15, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is an outdoor event and will take place rain or shine. Tickets are $95 each and can be purchased through Eventbrite. Vendors are asked to provide their own tables and 10x10 tents and add at least 30lbs of weight on each leg. Anything less is not permitted for safety reasons. Sand bag weights, which can be purchased through Amazon for under $30, are highly recommended.

Details for load-in times and directions will be given out on Tuesday at or before noon. Anyone who has any questions is asked to contact holler@mplscraftmarket.com
