New Brighton Stockyard Days will be returning to town in early August.
This year's festivities will feature three days of live music entertainment with Wayne & the Boys and Good for Gary on Friday, Irondale Marching Knights, Vinnie Rose, Roxxy Hall Band and Power of Ten on Saturday and Charanga Tropical on Sunday.
The finals of the New Brighton Idol Karaoke Contest will take place Sunday, August 10th at Long Lake Regional Park.
The parade will step off at 10:00 am on Saturday, and fireworks will begin around 9:30 pm on Saturday night at the Long Lake Regional Park Pavilion.
The Craft Fair, Food Vendors and Family Fun Zone part if the festivities will be all three days at Long Lake Regional Park, 1500 Old Highway 8.
The Corral Open golf tournament will be on Sunday with one flight beginning at 8:00 am and another at noon. Registration for the 9 holes of golf will be $100 for teams of four. Prizes will be given to longest drive, closest to pin, longest putt, and to the team that comes up with the best event-themed name. The tournament will take place at the Brightwood Hills Golf Course, 1975 Silver Lake Road NW.
Organizers who present multiple-day events like this often use banner printing services and put Banners up around town a couple of weeks before opening day.
The New Brighton Stockyard Days will be August 8th through the 10th.
